To clean hardwood furniture simply scrub with warm soapy water using fine wire wool or a scrubbing brush. This will remove any day-to-day stains or dirt. To remove any deep, heavy stains treat with a jet wash or sand out. To return the timber to its natural colour and replenish the oils, an exterior oil based preservative or teak oil can be brushed on.
